SAVE A SOLEOur (main) March Mission Giving Opportunity is “Save a Sole”! How many pair of socks can we collect for donation to area agencies?  It’s up to you! Any time during March, bring some new or gently-used socks to church, and hang them on the   clothesline over the coat rack.  (Extras can be put in the basket below).  Thank you for helping to keep feet warm and dry!

ETHNIC POTLUCK – MARCH 19TH Bring your favorite international dish to our next potluck: Chinese? Mexican? German? Scottish? French?  Indian? Kenyan? Guatemalan? Whatever you like, bring some to share! It will be held on Sunday, March 19th following worship. Hope you can be here! A sign-up sheet will help us balance main dishes, sides and desserts.

DAY OF CARINGWORSHIP GOD BY SERVING OTHERS  Dates:  May 21 and possibly October 8, 2017

On “Day of Caring Worship” days we as a congregation celebrate God’s presence by serving. We do not have a regular worship service. Instead, after a brief time together, we go out into the community to serve at pre-arranged projects. And one project will   be planned at the church for those who are not able to do the more physical activities. To do: Watch for more information, and think about friends who don’t attend church, but might want to join us to serve that day. We have received project proposals from Habitat for Humanity, Jackson County Medical Care Facility, and the Jackson County Department on Aging!

GODSPELL RETURNS TO WESTMINSTER! Several years ago Westminster was blessed with the opportunity to host the touring youth group Elation’s production of Godspell,.   They will be coming this direction again in June, and contacted us to see if  we could host them gain.  So – Elation will be performing Godspell at Westminster on Wednesday, June 21! We will need to feed them dinner, and host them overnight in homes. Contact the office if you are willing to host!
